Deposit and Cancellation Policies

The Village at Wild Dunes (TVWD) Studios and Suites and Wild Dunes Homes and Villas Deposit: 50% of the value of the entire stay is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival and will automatically be charged to your credit card. A credit card authorization will be required for each stay upon check-in. The authorization amount will equal the remaining value of the stay plus $75 per night for incidentals and the authorization will be released within 5-7 business days of departure once the balance is paid in full. Any debit card authorization will result in the withholding of funds from the account for the aforementioned 5-7 business days.

Interest on TVWD Studios and Suites and Wild Dunes Homes and Villas Deposits: All deposits are placed in an interest bearing account. While you have a right to ownership of the interest, pursuant to this agreement, you relinquish that right to Wild Dunes Resort, which will receive any interest which may accrue. A credit card authorization will be required for each stay upon check-in. The authorization amount will equal the remaining value of the stay plus $75 per night for incidentals and the authorization will be released within 5-7 business days of departure once the balance is paid in full. Any debit card authorization will result in the withholding of funds from the account for the aforementioned 5-7 business days.

The Village at Wild Dunes Studios and Suites and Wild Dunes Homes and Villas Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit amount. Deposits for reservations cancelled more than 45 days in advance of arrival will be refunded less a $50 handling fee.

Extended Stay Deposit: All extended stay reservations are required to pay one full month room charges at the time of booking. A credit card authorization will be required for each stay upon check-in. The authorization amount will equal the remaining value of the stay plus $75 per night for incidentals and the authorization will be released within 5-7 business days of departure once the balance is paid in full. Any debit card authorization will result in the withholding of funds from the account for the aforementioned 5-7 business days.

Extended Stay Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit amount. Deposits for reservations cancelled more than 45 days in advance of arrival will be refunded less a $50 handling fee.

Boardwalk Inn and TVWD Guest Room Deposit: Room charge for one night's stay is required at the time of booking. A credit card authorization will be required for each stay upon check-in. The authorization amount will equal the remaining value of the stay plus $75 per night for incidentals and the authorization will be released within 5-7 business days of departure once the balance is paid in full. Any debit card authorization will result in the withholding of funds from the account for the aforementioned 5-7 business days.

Boardwalk Inn and TVWD Guest Room Cancellation: Cancellation made less than 7 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of one night's room charge.

Date Changes: Change in arrival or departure date is considered a cancellation of those dates.

Resort Services Fee: There is a resort services fee of 9% added to each accommodation rate (subject to change). Resort Fee includes maintaining community roadways, bicycle paths, beach access paths and Wild Dunes Security Services. Also complimentary on-Resort transportation and business center access, preferred tee times, and complimentary access to the Grand Pavilion and Swim Center.

Check-In Time: After 4 p.m. Boardwalk Inn guests check in at the Inn's front desk. The Village at Wild Dunes and Homes and Villas guests check in at The Village at Wild Dunes.

Check-Out Time: By 10 a.m. in Homes and Villas. By 11 a.m. in the Boardwalk Inn and The Village at Wild Dunes.

Supplies in TVWD Studios and Suites and Wild Dunes Homes and Villas: Towels, linens, fully equipped kitchen. Starter supply of toilet tissue, bath soap, liquid dish soap, paper towels and dish washing detergent.

Rate Information: All rates are subject to availability and may change without notice. Rates do not include taxes/fees: Sales and Accommodations taxes 11.5%, Resort Services Fee 9% (subject to change). Resort Fee includes maintaining community roadways, bicycle paths, beach access paths and Wild Dunes Security Services. Also complimentary on-Resort transportation and business center access, preferred tee times, and complimentary access to Grand Pavilion and Swim Center. Group attendees are also charged the group amenity fee.

The Boardwalk Inn and Village at Wild Dunes Housekeeping Information: All guest rooms and suites in the Boardwalk Inn and Village at Wild Dunes receive daily housekeeping services.

Wild Dunes Home and Villa Housekeeping Information: Stays under seven nights receive a departure clean only. Stays of seven nights or more receive a complimentary mid-week cleaning, including trash and towel service (except the Boardwalk Inn and The Village at Wild Dunes which receive daily housekeeping service regardless of length of stay). Rate includes Arrival/Departure Housekeeping. Housekeeping services in addition to those already provided are available upon request for an additional fee.

Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Outdoor Grilling: Outdoor grilling in rental units is strictly prohibited by local fire codes.

Vehicles: Motor Homes, boat trailers, personal watercraft, motorcycles and other two wheeled motorized vehicles are prohibited within the gates of Wild Dunes. Wild Dunes Resort makes no provision for parking/storage of such vehicles.
