SEA ISLAND GRILL RESTAURANT AT WILD DUNES RESORT FEATURES VALENTINE'S DAY DINNER MENU
Four Course Pre-Fixe Menu for $65 Per Person
Isle of Palms, SC, February 6, 2013 - The Sea Island Grill, located in the Boardwalk Inn at Wild Dunes Resort, will feature a special Valentine’s Day dinner menu from 6 – 10:00 p.m. nightly February 14 – 16. Artfully created and prepared by Executive Chef Thomas McKinney-Stehr, the four-course champagne dinner features fresh local seafood and unique preparations of game meats in celebration of the 2013 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition.
The pre-fixe menu is $65 per person excluding tax and gratuity and will include:
Appetizer (select one)
• Seared Scallops with Red Beet, Pink Peppercorn Crème Fraiche, Pine Nuts, and Micro Arugula & Cilantro
• SC Caper’s Inlet Blades Oysters with Baked Pancetta & Horseradish, Bacon & Jalapeno Mignonette, Wasabi Tobiko & Pickled Shallot
• Pheasant Meatballs with South Carolina Stone Ground Grits, South Carolina Brie, Cranberry Agrodolce, Duck Powder
Intermezzo
• Grape Champagne Sorbet
Entrée (select one)
• Poached Atlantic Halibut with Rice Noodles, Pickled Kumquats, Shaved Radish, Sweet Pea Emulsion, Chorizo Oil
• Duck Breast ‘Poppers’ & Jumbo Shrimp with Duck Prosciutto Wrapped, house made Pappardelle, Kale, Creamy Kimchi Sauce
• Seared Elk Tenderloin with Foie Gras Mousse, Ricotta Dumplings, Smoked Pearl Onions, Sweet Potato Crisps

• Black Berry Honey Shortcake with Prosecco Macerated Black Berries, Lavender Whipped Cream, Lemon Mint Sorbet
