Wild Dunes Resort Earns #3 Ranking in Travel + Leisure’s 2012 ‘World’s Best Hotels for Families’ List

September issue features results from magazine’s annual ‘World’s Best Awards’ survey

Isle of Palms, S.C. – Wild Dunes Resort adds another accolade to its list this year when the September issue of Travel + Leisure hits stands. Wild Dunes Resort ranks #3 in the magazine’s “World’s Best Hotels for Families” list for U.S.-based hotels. On a scale of one to 100, Charleston’s Island Resort received a score of 95.46.

The annual Travel + Leisure World’s Best survey was determined by readers of the popular travel magazine. Readers were invited to participate in the online survey between Dec. 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012. Respondents were asked to rate hotels on five characteristics: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.
