Resort Removes Complications from Family Vacations with Special Package
ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. – As the weather warms up, so does vacation planning for many families. This summer, Wild Dunes Resort, a Destination Hotels & Resorts property located just 30 minutes from Charleston, S.C., is making it easier for families to spend quality time with those who matter most by the beach with their Family Matters package, featuring reduced rates for seven night family stays.
The package is a direct result of Wild Dunes’ research showing consumers’ preference for vacationing with the entire family even as they tighten the belt in response to the uncertain economic climate.
“Guest feedback is vital to the success of this resort, and we have noticed a significant number of customers who trust Wild Dunes to deliver uncomplicated, relaxing beach getaways for the entire family at an affordable price,” says Frank Fredericks, managing director, Wild Dunes Resort. “These customers want to bring their whole families together for a memorable vacation. Starting at $2,730 per week, the package features 20 percent off the nightly rate for seven night stays in a home or villa vacation rental at the premier beach resort through September 8, 2010. The promotion is valid for bookings made by June 30, 2010, based on eight people in select rentals and also includes several family favorites:
• one single scoop ice cream cone per person per day from either Hudson’s Market or Duney’s Ice Cream Shop
• daily breakfast for children (under 10 years of age) at The Lettered Olive
• one weekly waterslide pass per child (13 and under) at the Swim Center
• weekly bicycle rentals for eight people.
