Capers Island Wildlife Exploration
When: From 09/02/2014 to 12/31/2014
Cruise aboard a covered pontoon through the salt marsh and tidal creeks of the Intracoastal Waterway to Capers Island, one of the few remaining underdeveloped barrier islands. On the way, search for and discover diverse wildlife living in the salt marsh environment - common sightings include bottlenose dolphin, egrets, herons, bald eagles, blue crabs and more. Once on Capers Island, you will have about an hour and a half for free time to explore the island and its must-see Boneyard Beach at your own pace.
