Join us at the Grand Pavilion at 10 a.m. for a one mile run on the beach with small hurdles. A southern social will be held on the North Croquet Lawn following the run with local vendors and drinks for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local organization, Rein and Shine, that utilizes horses to assist in physical therapy of children and adults with varying types of disabilities. Prizes will be awarded male, female and child winner. Entry fee is $40 and includes an official Peope Chase t-shirt. Please pre-register at the Fitness Center, the Sand & Sea Salon and Spa on the Village Plaza or through the concierge. Please register 24 hours in advance. Call 843.886.7008.

Kick off the summer in style with our Memorial Day weekend celebration, starting at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the Grand Pavilion. Dinner includes fried chicken, smoked brisket. mac and cheese, collards, watermelon and dessert. A special Kids Buffet will also be available. Cost is $35 for adults, $12 for children ages 5-12 inclusive of tax and gratuity and free for ages 4 and under. Reservations required.

Join us on the Village Plaza for an all American cookout from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Dinner includes grill station items such as hamburgers and hot dogs with assorted cheeses, caramelized onions, sweet pickle and all appropriate condiments. BBQ chicken, pulled pork, potato salad and baked beans will also be served along with a special July 4th dessert.
