New Golf & Tennis Offerings

Wine, Dine and Nine
What more could you want? The Wine, Dine and Nine package includes 9 holes of golf after 2 p.m. on the Links or Harbor Course, rental clubs, dinner for two at the Sea Island Grill inside the Boardwalk Inn and a bottle of wine to enjoy. New Kayak Excursions

Three-Hour Morgan Creek Paddle
Explore some of the most beautiful salt marsh in the lowcountry! This beautiful three hour paddle behind Wild Dunes Resort explores the intricate salt marsh and tidal flats that is home to a variety of creatures from herons, pelicans, and gulls to dolphins, turtles and otters. Paddle times are scheduled throughout the day based on your schedule. Cost is $60 for adults and $40 for children. Call 843.886.2292.

Two-Hour Family Paddle
Two hours of fun for the whole family! On this two-hour paddle, enjoy the beauty and playful wildlife of the Isle of Palms, noting the main components of the estuary as well as their vital role within it. This paddle takes you through Morgan Creek to a small hammock island with a scenic swimming hole where time can be spent with your naturalist guide exploring the island or simply cooling off in the refreshing waters of Morgan Creek before the paddle back! Paddle times are scheduled throughout the day based on your schedule. Cost is $50 for adults and $30 for children. Call 843.886.2292. 

Dewee’s Island Paddle
Though close in proximity to civilization, in this six hour paddle we will head north to see 50 miles of undeveloped shoreline – the longest stretched of uninhabited beach on the eastern seaboard. While paddling through this winding saltwater creek, we may encounter dolphins, otters, sea turtle and some of the 270+ species of birds that can be seen here. Pack a lunch as we will break on Dewee’s Island beach to relax, enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic, throw the cast net, crab and comb the beach for interesting specimen and artifacts that may have washed up before we start our journey back home. Cost is $90 for adults. Minimum age of 12 years old to participate. Call 843.886.2292.

New Charleston Tours and Activities 

Historic Downtown Culinary Tour
This 2 1/2 hour tour explores the heart of historic Charleston, focusing on the area around the Old City Market. Each Historic Downtown Culinary Tour visits four different restaurants to sample a variety of Charleston dishes and meet the chefs, managers and owners behind these restaurants that helped establish Charleston as a culinary destination. In between stops, your
guide will provide insight into Charleston’s culinary landscape and discuss historical landmarks and events that shaped Charleston’s development. As there is a good deal of food on the tour, we recommend a light lunch beforehand! Tour is offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2 p.m. and meets at the Southend Brewery and Smokehouse, located at 161 East Bay Street. Cost is $50 for individual tickets. A 24-hour advance reservation is required. Call 843.886.2292.

Upper King Street Culinary Tour
This 2 1/2 hour tour offers insight into Charleston’s trendy Upper King Street district (King Street north of Calhoun Street, in the historic district) and surrounding neighborhoods, showcasing many of Charleston’s culinary innovators and up-and-coming chefs! Each Upper King Street Culinary Tour stops at four different restaurants. The Upper King Street area has emerged as an area with tremendous energy, showcasing culinary innovation, experimental design and boutique shopping. The restaurants featured on the Upper King Street Culinary Tour are trailblazers in Charleston’s culinary scene, edgy and innovative, with tremendous passion for their craft. The Upper King Street Culinary Tour is designed to show off some of the best that Charleston has to offer and provide insight into Charleston’s ever changing culinary scene. As there is a good deal of food on the tour, we recommend a light lunch beforehand! Tour is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2 p.m. and meets at HoM Restaurant, located at 563 King Street. Cost is $50 for individual tickets. A 24-hour advance reservation is required. Call 843.886.2292. 

Mixology Tour
This 1 1/2 hour tour will introduce you to some of Charleston’s best Mixologists! Each Mixology Tour stops at three watering holes where guests will meet the magicians behind the bars that are mixing Charleston’s most exciting, innovative and delicious drinks. After discussing the art and craft of mixing cocktails, and gaining insight into how Charleston’s mixologists are
embracing traditional techniques and are taking ingredients from farm to tumbler, tour participants will have an opportunity to sample a specialty craft cocktail at each of the three stops! While walking between establishments, your guide will provide insight into Charleston’s cocktail culture, both past and present. Mixology Tours are offered on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and
Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. On Mondays and Saturdays, tours meet at the Southend Brewery and Smokehouse, located at 161 East Bay Street. On Thursdays and Fridays, tours meet on the rooftop patio at Stars Restaurant, located at 495 King Street. Cost is $40 per person. A 24-hour advance reservation is required. Call 843.886.2292. 

Chef’s Showcase at the Farmer’s Market - Starting mid-April
This two-hour tour showcases Charleston’s wonderful Farmer’s Market, which was ranked as one of the top 10 in the nation by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Starting outside the Charleston Visitors Center, at the corner of Meeting and John Streets, this tour proceeds to the Farmer’s Market where the group will meet some of the local farmers at the market and purchase several ingredients. Those ingredients are sent to one of our partner restaurants while the group proceeds on a walking tour of the surrounding area. At the conclusion of the walking tour, the group will proceed to one of our restaurant partners to see how the chef has incorporated the ingredients into a variety of dishes and to enjoy a true farm-to-table meal! Tour is offered
on Saturdays while the Charleston Farmer’s Market is open, from mid-April through mid-December at 9:30 a.m. and meets at the corner of Meeting and John Streets, just south of the Charleston Visitor’s Center (375 Meeting Street). Sound of Charleston 
Come experience the unique sounds that define Charleston’s rich musical heritage; gospel, Gershwin, music of the Civil War, light classics, and jazz, all presented by professional artists in a live, unforgettable 75-minute concert at Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting Street, in the heart of the Historic District. Cost is $28 per adult and free for children under 12. Concerts starts at 7 p.m. Days vary, please call for schedule. Call 843.886.2292.
