New Resort Guest Amenities & Offerings

wendi - whatever you need, instantly
wendi is the knowledge center of the Resort where you can call for all of your needs during your stay. Simply pick up a Resort phone and dial 0 to reach wendi from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. 

Boardwalk Inn Adult-Only Hours
Adults 21 and older can escape for some privacy at the intimate Boardwalk Inn pool. New for Summer 2014, the pool will be exclusively for adults from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May to Labor Day. Soak up the sun and enjoy a bite or adult beverage from our seasonal poolside lounge menu at the Sea Island Grill. Families with children, please join us at one of our other family-friendly pools: The Grand Pavilion, Swim Center or Palm Cove.

King of Pop Poptails!
Summer means popsicles! Not your average popsicles, but adult style Poptails infused with fresh fruit and locally distilled Firefly Moonshine! Choose from Strawberry MoonShine or Peach Moonshine. It’s an icy twist to the mixed drink, perfect for the pool. Available at the Grand Pavilion. $6 each

New Golf Specials, Schools and Instruction

Wine, Dine and Nine
What more could you want? The Wine, Dine and Nine package includes 9 holes of golf after 2 p.m. on the Links or Harbor Course, rental clubs, dinner for two at the Sea Island Grill inside the Boardwalk Inn and a bottle of wine to enjoy. $280/couple; 843.886.2214.

Afternoon Tee

Double Up

We want to see what you’ve learned, so sessions will wrap up with fun competitions, including the longest and the most accurate cast. Fear No Easel Painting Class

Osprey Nautical Kids Camp

Lowcountry Boil Beachside Cookout

Cruise to the North End of Capers Island on a covered pontoon boat, explore and shell hunt while the crew prepares dinner. Come back and enjoy a fresh lowcountry boil as the sun sets over the salt marsh. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be available for children and non-seafood eaters. 

Santee Pass Excursion

This 4-hour cruise takes you through the less traveled Santee Pass to the northern tip of Capers Island aboard a covered pontoon. Once stopped at Capers Island, explore the fully exposed Boneyard Beach, tidal pools, and other treasures left behind.

Fiddler Crab Family Kayaking Paddle

This two hour trip meanders out of the marina to a hammock island where there is time to swim, explore, or relax before the paddle back. 

Morgan Creek Salt Marsh Kayaking Paddle

This three-hour paddle will take you through the salt marshes off the back of Isle of Palms into the tidal creeks and bays. 

Dewee’s Island Expedition Paddle

$90/adult. Children 12 and under not recommended for this trip.
Pack a lunch for this six-hour paddle to see the longest stretch of uninhabited beach on the Eastern seaboard. Trip will stop at Dewee’s Island beach for lunch, shelling, cast netting, and relaxing before the paddle back. 

Quenby Creek Blackwater Paddle

10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

This 3.5-hour paddle highlights the blackwater paddles and includes a visit to a historic chapel which was also seen in the film, The Patriot. Bring a lunch to enjoy while taking in the spectacular views. 

SUP Yoga
Offered Mondays & Wednesdays

SUP Yoga classes include basic paddle instruction, pranayama (basic yoga breath work), brief meditation, sun salutations, and energetic, revitalizing poses to jumpstart your day. Expect to float in Savansana with the sounds of Mother Nature to seal in the practice. All levels welcome. A few minutes of “free flow” at the end of each class.
