Charleston, SC Water Sports at Wild Dunes Resort

Test your limits with a water adventure! Whether you’re sailing 800 feet above the ocean, free riding on a jet ski or cruising with friends on a banana boat, these water sports guarantee high speeds and panoramic views of the barrier island.

Jet Ski Free Ride

Experience the thrill of the fastest on-water adventure as Yamaha Jet Skis zip through over ten square miles of open water at speeds up to 60 mph. Jet skis can accommodate up to three passengers or about 400 pounds. Trips are one hour in duration.

• One Rider $99/hour

• Two Riders $119/hour

• Three Riders $139/hour

Jet Ski Safari Adventure

Accompany knowledgeable guides through areas only accessible by personal watercraft. This three-part trip consists of backwater exploration, an open water free ride and shelling on a barrier island. Cost is $119 for one rider and $139 for two riders. Trips are 90 minutes in duration.

Parasailing

Get a bird’s eye view as Coast Guard Certified captains and mates take you flying from the deck of a custom parasail boat. Hold on as you are gently lifted up to your choice of 600 or 800 feet and then soar through the air by parachute. Please note: Parasailing is a weather-sensitive activity. Trips may be rescheduled at any time. Cost is $60 for a 600 foot ride, $80 for an 800 foot ride and $40 per guaranteed observer (limit 1 observer per family). Trips include up to a 2 hour boat ride and 8-10 minutes of flight time.

Banana Boat Rides

Fun for the entire family, your banana boat ride can be slow and scenic or an adventurous ride! Guides tow your party from behind a Yamaha Jet Ski down the Intracoastal Waterway. Cost is $25 per passenger. Trips are 30 minutes in duration.

Wakeboarding/Waterskiing/Kneeboarding

Try your choice of water sports on the water. Captains can accommodate newcomers to these water sports with lessons or a few tips to the intermediate riders. Boat and all the necessary equipment is supplied including wakeboards, water skis, knee-boards and inner tubes. Trips are offered daily. Please inquire for available times. Cost is $320 per boat for 2 hours or $440 for 3 hours with an additional gas surcharge based on boat usage to be charged at boat dock. Maximum of six people. Trips are two hours or three hours in duration.

Paddle Boarding

Come and try paddle boarding which is the fastest growing water sport in the world and combine both fitness and the great outdoors. We will teach you the correct paddle techniques while we paddle some of the most beautiful creeks in the lowcountry. Paddle boarding will give you a solid core workout and offer great wildlife viewing. Once the basic skills are learned, the options for touring and paddling are endless. Tours will be offered from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. during the week. Cost is $59 per person.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding Fitness

Looking for a new, fun way to stay in shape? Take your workouts to the pristine waters of Isle of Palms! Standup paddle boarding (SUP) fitness will get you out of the gym and on the water while burning more calories than running on a treadmill! Each paddle boarding class begins with a 15 minute on land instruction to ensure you know how to properly use the equipment and maneuver on the water. Beginners and seasoned paddlers are welcome! You can expect to develop great paddle skills while strengthening your core and improving your overall balance and flexibility. Once the basic paddle skills are accomplished, the instructor will lead the class in core-strengthening exercises on the board similar to Pilates and Yoga (includes push-ups, plank, various core exercises, stretching, squats and other movements / poses that will increase overall balance). And don’t worry...with our seasoned instructors; most students do not fall in the water! Each class is one hour and fifteen minutes. Trip is offered Tuesday and Thursday 8 - 9:15 a.m. Cost is $38 per person.

A 24 hour advanced reservation is required for all water sports. Call 843.886.2292 for day and time availability.
