Love Charleston and Wild Dunes Resort? Then you're in good company! We are beyond elated to spread the good news that Charleston has been named both Top U.S. City and Top Destination in the World by Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards!

Not only did Charleston as a destination rank well among CNT readers...so did we! We sincerely thank you in voting Wild Dunes Resort a top resort in the South!

In the words of our own Managing Director and Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Chairman - Frank Fredericks, "We are tickled pink, just like some of Charleston’s historic antebellum homes. The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award is based on six criteria and takes time to complete, which is a reflection of the voters’ thoughtful effort to recognize their favorite destinations."

Marie Casalino : My husband and I spent four wonderful days with our son, daughter-in-law and nine month granddaughter at Wild Dunes. Our kids were attending a wedding. Wild Dunes is the best place to babysit. The bride and groom hosted a great rehearsal dinner at one of Charleston's local restaurants. After dropping the kids off at the airport, we enjoyed a few days of R&R in our favorite southern city. Wild Dunes and Charleston - the best of both worlds.
